Syftet med detta projekt har varit att samla in, sammanställa, strukturera och till viss del analysera erfarenheter kring djupstabilisering med kalk-cementpelare. Resultatet av projektet utgörs av föreliggande rapport, men dessutom har en databas skapats. Vidare finns allt insamlat material arkiverat och tillgängligt för att utnyttjas i kommande FoU-projekt, som bedrivs i regi av Svensk Djupstabilisering. Materialet omfattar information av mer översiktlig karaktär, som belyser var, när, hur och varför djupstabilisering genomförts. Dessutom har mer omfattande information inhämtats från 57 väldokumenterade mätsektioner, med uppgifter om den oförstärkta lerans egenskaper, pelarnas egenskaper, förväntat och erhållet beteende, m.m. Den insamlade informationen innefattar drygt 5 miljoner meter kalk-cementpelare som installerats i Sverige (från Västernorrlands län i norr till Hallands och Kalmar län i söder), huvudsakligen under tidsperioden 1985–1995.

The purpose of this project has been to collect, compile, structure and to someextent analyse experience of deep stabilization with lime-cement columns. Thisreport contains the results of the project, but a database has also been created.Furthermore, the collected material has been filed and made accessible for usein future R&D work forming part of the Swedish Deep Stabilization project.The material comprises information of a more general nature describing where,when, how and why deep stabilization has been carried out.
